How the offer works

For your first playMGB.com sports bet, wager $20 or more on either Golden State or Toronto on a single game of your choice. Then, win or lose, for every point the designated star player on your team scores, playmgm.com will pay you $3 cash!

You can make your qualifying wager on any single remaining NBA finals game, and the wager can be either a moneyline bet or a point spread bet.

As long as you make the wager before the game starts, you can do so either the same day the game is being played or in advance. However, keep in mind that all betting lines are subject to change.

Your initial bet is a cash wager which cannot exceed the available funds in your account.

If you win, just like with any other winning sports bet, as soon as the final score is official, both the amount you wagered (already deducted from your account balance) and the amount you won will be credited to your account immediately.

Golden State bettors

Additional terms and conditions

Unlike your cash wager, for which you’ll be paid immediately if you win, you will have to wait at least a week to receive the extra promotion payout. Even though the playoffs will end by June 16 at the very latest, for some reason, playmgm.com lists the promotion period as ending on June 21.

You can expect to receive your promotion payout within 48 hours thereafter. The payout will be in the form of an immediately withdrawable cash credit to your account with no additional wagering requirements.

The only possible way you won’t get a promotion payout is if the player in question either doesn’t play at all or doesn’t score. Extremely unlikely! Otherwise the promotion payout is guaranteed.

How much cash can you win from this promotion?

Your total winnings will, of course, depend on how much money, if any, you win on your initial cash bet. PlayMGM.com has set the maximum additional amount you can win based on the top player’s point total as $200.

That would mean scoring more than 66 points. So unless the game goes into multiple overtimes (like the quadruple overtime 5/3-4 Portland-Denver game), the grand total won’t even come close.

However, Kawhi Leonard has scored an average of 19 points per game in this year’s NBA playoffs so far, including some games with over 30 points. And Steph Curry has averaged 27 points per game and over 30 points in every game since Kevin Durant has been out.

So do the math. If your star player scores 20 points in the game you bet, you receive $60 cash. If he scores 30 points or more, you receive at least $90!
